AppWorx job history per session is an individual setting and can be changed by following these steps:- Log into AppWorx.
- Select the Options menu item.
- Select the Settings menu item.
- Under the General tab, increase the Job History Limits: Previous minutes. You can specify up to 4320 minutes.
It is recommended that you save your output to your local machine when the job has completed so that you may refer to it at your convenience if future processing/review is required.
-
I can't find my job output and it is no longer in AppWorx History.
AppWorx registers job output from jobs that are run in multiple directories in Banner.- If your job produces only .LIS and .LOG files, the job output will only be viewable to you via the AppWorx viewer.
- If your job produces additional output files, the job output (excluding .LIS and .LOG) will be available for 10 days and can be accessed via CoreFTP in the appropriate load directory/ one_up number combination.
If you have not retrieved your .LIS or .LOG files from AppWorx and can no longer see them in AppWorx history, you will need to create a 6-TECH ticket. The information reported should include:
- Banner username
- Job name
- One-up number, if known
- Number of expected files
- Name of expected files, if known, that you would like retrieved
- Date the job was run, if known
- How do I restart a job in AppWorx?
You can just resubmit the job in Banner Be sure to move any input files back to the proper directories.
- How do I get a job stopped in AppWorx?
Stopping a running job in AppWorx requires proper security authorization. See the AppWorx Superuser for your group to have the job stopped.
- How do I get a job scheduled to run automatically in AppWorx?
Scheduling a job in AppWorx requires proper security authorization. See the AppWorx Superuser for your group to have the job scheduled.
- What if I need additional help?
Each group has an AppWorx Superuser assigned. He or she will be able to help you with navigation, security and any other issues you may have. If, however, the issue cannot be resolved with the help of the AppWorx Superuser then you will need to create a 6-TECH ticket. The information reported should include:- Banner username
- Job name
- One-up number, if known
- Number of expected files
- Date the job was run, if known
- Issue with the job
- I tried to log in to AppWorx and I received an RMI error. What does this mean?
This message means that AppWorx is down. If you need to retrieve your files AND you ran your job through Banner with the DATABASE print option AND you know your one up number you can view the results via the ouput viewer in Banner (GJIREVO). This is accessed via the Options menu in the job submission screen. If you did not run with the above options then you will need to create a 6-TECH ticket to get the files retrieved. The information reported should include:- Banner username
- Job name
- One-up number, if known
- Number of expected files
- Name of expected files, if known, that you would like retrieved
- Date the job was run, if known
