Data Management
The Office of Data Management provides services and solutions that enhance the value of university data in support of informed tactical and strategic decision making.
Office goals include the following:
- To simplify the sources of data for reporting purposes
- To reduce the need for administrative offices to replicate data and maintain redundant data systems
- To facilitate data integrity
- To promote coordination and management of data resources and their usage across the university
The Director of Data Management is the project manager of the Operational Data Store implementation project. The Operational Data Store is an enterprise-wide store of near-current, integrated, and detailed data, structured to enable efficient end-user tactical reporting.
