• What tool do I need to install on my computer to access the Development and the Production MSSQL database?
  
  If you have been granted the appropriate permissions to access the development database server, you need to download Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express. You can find the download tool and installation instructions on the Microsoft web site.
  
  To access the production database server, you will need special permission and the Virtual Private Networking (VPN) client on your local machine to ensure total security and encryption. For information about obtaining the VPN client, go to the UNCG Access to Virtual Private Networking web page or call 6-TECH at 336-256-TECH (8324).
