Purchase a Laptop
Two vendors have been selected to provide recommended laptops for the Student Laptop Initiative. When you purchase a recommended laptop through this site, you gain the benefits of a participant in the Student Laptop Initiative, including a price below retail, pre-loaded software for academic use, access to the on-campus laptop support center, and confidence that the laptop will meet the requirements of mobile academic computing at UNCG.
Before you buy
Students are free to select any of the recommended laptops for purchase. However, some degree programs may require that students have a particular vendor's laptop or a even a specific model of recommended laptop. Be sure to check with the department of your degree program to see if there is an expressed laptop platform preference.
