Data Center Move over Labor Day Weekend (some network service impact)

What: Data Center Move
When: Midnight, 9/1 through 7 AM, 9/4
One of the UNCG campus data centers will be moved over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The move will begin at midnight on Saturday, 9/1, and continue through 7 AM on Tuesday, 9/4.
Services will be impacted throughout the move as follows:

- Network services, including Internet service
- Banner Production database
- Banner Self- Service (UNCGenie)
- Banner INB
- Banner Production ODS
- WebFOCUS Production Reporting (from PrdWebFoc1)
- Blackboard
- Novell file and print services
- Novell logins and application delivery
- Lotus e- mail (desktop and web client)
- Ad Astra
AVAILABLE WITH LIKELY PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION
- Banner Project ODS for Banner HR project
- Banner Validation ODS
- Banner Project (UGVAL7)

- Modifications to campus LDAP directory (including creation of new Lotus email accounts and Blackboard password resets)

- ACORA - Student Database Teaching Access
- Power Park system and development system
