Who: e-Spartan Web Client Users
What: Users may have to clear out their browser's cache and cookie file
Why: e-Spartan login server migration
When: Friday, 12/6, 6:00 - 7:00 PM
Information Technology Services (ITS) is migrating the server that hosts the login ability for the e-Spartan web client. After the migration, users may need to clear the cache and cookies from their browser and then try and re login to the application.
To learn how to clear the cache and/or cookies from your web browser:
- Go to 6-TECH Online
- Login using your Novell User Name and Password, then
- Copy and paste the following into the search field: Clear Cache or Clear Cookies
- Choose the appropriate search result returned
Note: If you use the address https://espartan.uncg.edu instead of https://e-spartan.uncg.edu, you will receive an warning about a problem with the SSL certificate. The problem certificate will be replaced.
If you see this warning, your Web browser is informing you that the certificate currently being used was purchased for e-spartan.uncg.edu and not specifically for espartan.uncg.edu. If there is any doubt, please use https://e-spartan.uncg.edu until the certificate has been replaced.
