What: Wireless Printing Service

When: Beginning October 1st

Beginning October 1, Information Technology Services (ITS) will offer a web printing service. Faculty, staff, and students using laptops will be able to send documents to ITS lab printers wirelessly. It is available only through the UNCG wireless network, the wireless network in common areas of the residence halls and on the wired UNCG network. At this time, it is not accessible from off-campus or from the wired network in the residence halls.

The current version of the web printing software is not compatible with Windows Vista. Therefore, you will NOT be able to print to any of the UNCG printers from a computer with the Vista operating system. We hope this issue will be resolved soon so that our clients who run Windows Vista will be able to take advantage of wireless printing.

Printing kiosks are also coming soon to the Bryan Food Court and EUC.
