Update: The Blackboard Technical team completed the upgrade to Blackboard 8 on Sunday, August 10th. For Blackboard 8 documentation & training information, please refer to the Faculty Support tab in Blackboard.

UNCG's Blackboard support staff expects to upgrade Blackboard to version 8 this weekend. The upgrade is anticipated to begin on Friday, August 8th at 6 PM. It is expected that the system will be unavailable until Sunday, August 10th at 6 PM. An email notice will be sent when Blackboard is again available.
Version 8 of Blackboard includes a new gradebook, called the Grade Center,that is more flexible and more customizable. For a sneak preview, watch the Blackboard Version 8 Overview video.
The University Teaching and Learning Center will continue to offer training sessions on the Grade Center and the other new features in Blackboard 8.
