Firefox Compatibility Issues with e-Spartan

11 August 2008

Recent releases of the web browser Firefox have compatibility issues with e-Spartan, the web-based interface for UNCG's Lotus email system. Firefox 2 users who run versions 2.0.0.15 or .16 will see frequent "Domino web access warning" messages, though e-Spartan will continue to work despite those errors. Firefox 3.0 and 3.0.1 do not work reliably with e-Spartan and, therefore, are not recommended for e-Spartan users. Firefox 2.0.0.14 is the most recent version recommended for use with e-Spartan as of August 11, 2008.

For more information on Firefox and e-Spartan compatibility issues, contact 6-TECH at (336) 256-TECH or 6-TECH@uncg.edu.
