  • Why: To upgrade underlying Oracle database technology for Banner

  • Client Impact: Banner-based systems unavailable

Information Technology Services (ITS) is upgrading the underlying Oracle database technology for Banner.

The following systems will be unavailable starting 2 PM, Saturday, March 8th:

Once the upgrade has been completed, the services will be restored. All Banner-based services should be available no later than 7 AM, Tuesday, March 11th .

All Banner account holders will receive an email prior to shutdown and again, once services are restored.
