Adobe has identified critical vulnerabilities in Adobe Reader and Acrobat version 8.1.2 and earlier. One of the UNC system campuses is reporting active exploits of this vulnerability.
Adobe Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 are not vulnerable to these issues. Adobe recommends that you upgrade to Adobe Reader and Acrobat version 9. Those who cannot upgrade to version 9 should install the 8.1.3 update to protect themselves from potential vulnerabilities.
