Compatibility Restored Between Firefox & e-Spartan

Last weekend, Information Technology Services (ITS) implemented an IBM solution designed to fix performance problems with the Lotus Notes (e-Spartan) email system. This solution caused additional problems with the compatibility between Firefox and e-Spartan, the web-based interface for Lotus Notes.
- ITS installed an IBM patch on October 23, 2008 that has restored the compatibility between Firefox 2.x and e-Spartan.
- The IBM patch does not claim to fix compatibility problems with Firefox 3.x, therefore, we do not recommend this version for e-Spartan users.
