Service Pack 3 (SP3) for Windows XP Will Be Unblocked

Information Technology Services (ITS) will unblock Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) for all UNCG Windows users during the week of February 23, 2009. After that unblocking occurs, the next time you receive Windows Automatic Updates (the timing of which depends on your settings) you will have the option to install SP3. Please click through the on-screen instructions to install SP3, and note the warning to back up any files that are important to you.
