The University Colors

The University Of North Carolina At Greensboro

(Approved October 22, 1990)

The official colors of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro are gold, white, and navy. Gold and white have been the institution's colors since its founding. Navy was added in 1987. Specifications of colors from the Pantone Matching System are as follows:

Gold- PMS 116

White- no specification required

Navy- PMS 281

When University symbols are used on clothing, uniforms, merchandise, and printing, these color standards should be matched as closely as possible.

Consultation on the use of the University Colors may be obtained from the University Publications Office. A color match page is available from the University Publications Office and may be used for matching colors on clothing, uniforms, and merchandise.
