Service: Voice Services Installations and Repairs

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides full installation and repair services for all telephone lines and equipment purchased or leased through ITS at no cost to UNCG faculty and staff.

New Telephone Lines

ITS will endeavor to provide you with a quick and reliable solution to your needs. In order to help us meet your needs, please allow us the following time to place your orders with the proper vendors.

  • For 1 to 5 new lines, turn in your BANFin-66 two to three weeks before you need the lines.
  • For 6 to 10 lines, turn in your BANFin-66 three to four weeks before you need the lines.
  • For 10 or more lines, turn in your BANFin-66 five weeks before you need the lines.

Voice Service Repairs

ITS Voice Services coordinates all contact with AT&T. If you are having trouble with your telephone, please call 6-TECH at (336) 256-8324.

Note: If the problem is with your privately owned equipment, you need to arrange for repair with the seller of the equipment or another repair service. ITS Voice Services does not repair or service privately owned telephone equipment. ITS Voice Services does repair University owned lines and equipment leased from ITS Voice Services at no additional charge.
