6-TECH Service Center


6-TECH Service Center is now located in the SuperLab @ Jackson Library

The 6-TECH Service Center provides technology support to students, faculty and staff. It is also the home of “6-TECH,” the single point of contact for ITS Technology support. You can get help in a variety of ways:

ITS 6-TECH responds to requests as quickly as possible. Phone calls and walk-in support provide the most immediate response during normal operating hours (see details for each type of support below). Email, chat, and online requests can take longer and may be responded to on the next business day.

Normal operating hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (chat closes at 5:00 p.m.)

The 6-TECH Service Desk, provides phone, email, and live agent chat support, and is closed on University holidays.

Walk-in

6-TECH walk-in support is available in the SuperLab in the Jackson Library. UNCG students, faculty and staff can get in-person assistance with laptops* and mobile devices. The walk-in center also serves as the drop-off and pickup location for faculty and staff equipment that require a 6-TECH service request.
