This information pertains to students who participated in the Spartan Mail pilot during the Fall 2007 semester. As a part of that pilot, your email address was username@spartan.uncg.edu. Once all students were moved into iSpartan, email addresses became username@uncg.edu. However, UNCG ITS continued to deliver mail for Spartan Pilot members at username@spartan.uncg.edu to give them time to transition fully to iSpartan.
On Monday, June 1, 2009, ITS will remove access to the spartan.uncg.edu domain and will stop delivering mail for username@spartan.uncg.edu. This means that beginning June 1, 2009:
- Email sent to username@spartan.uncg.edu will be bounced back to the sender.
- You will no longer be able to login to http://spartan.uncg.edu to access any mail that may still be there. If you have any data (mail, calendar or contacts) in your spartan.uncg.edu account that you would like to continue to access, you will need to login and forward it to your iSpartan account before June 1, 2009. For information on how to migrate your data, please read Migrate your mail, calendar, and contacts.
