Information Technology Training Opportunities on Campus

Information Technology Services (ITS) offers FREE training to faculty, staff, and students at UNCG through a combination of online and in person training in our training rooms.

ITS offers in person training in our training rooms, located in Bryan 209 and Forney 112, and online synchronous training using Google Hangouts. These workshops generally last 1.5 to 2 hours and are held throughout the year.

View a calendar of our current in class and online synchronous training offerings.

Registration for workshops is online at the UNCG Workshops and Events Calendar.

When you sign up for a workshop:

  • Please sign up for only one session of a specific topic.
  • Reserve your space as soon as possible because space is limited.
  • Include your name, UNCG user name, phone number, and other information on the sign-up form.
  • Classes start and end on time, so please be prompt. If you cannot attend a class for which you are registered, email the contact for that class.

To suggest a topic for a workshop, send an email to 6-TECH.

If you do not see any sessions scheduled for a workshop you are interested in, or if you would like to request a workshop for a class or a group of people, please send an email to 6-TECH.

You may evaluate our training sessions by filling out our Training Evaluation Form.
