Connect to the Wireless Network with an Entertainment Device

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro now provides a mechanism to connect some gaming consoles and Internet TV devices to the wireless network in the residence halls. Through a self-service registration process, each resident can have up to three entertainment devices connected to UNCG's network at a time. Device registrations are automatically deleted at the end of each semester.

This service is offered as a convenience to residential students; the Information Technology Services (ITS) Service Desk does not provide support for gaming consoles and Internet TV devices. Please note:

  • Not all gaming consoles are capable of connecting to UNCG's network.
  • Some game features may not work well on the wireless network due to the differences between home and enterprise networks.

  1. Go to and log in with your UNCG username and password. This registration system is only available on UNCG's wireless network.
