Update: September 24, 2024
The University’s virtual server infrastructure is currently experiencing an ongoing issue that was initially identified on September 17, 2024. Although we previously believed the issue had been resolved, it continues to affect several services, resulting in outages or degraded performance.
Impacted Services Include:
- Certain hosted departmental applications
- Printing
- Mapped drives, including SpartanDrive
- Secure Desktop
- Select apps within the virtual desktops
ITS continues to work with Microsoft to investigate and resolve the issue. This article will be updated as further information becomes available.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is aware of issues affecting the University’s virtual server infrastructure, which caused some services to become degraded or unavailable. The incident began at 10:50 a.m. today.
ITS is actively communicating with Microsoft to address this issue. We believe the issue is currently resolved. However, our ITS team will continue to monitor the situation to ensure stability.
Some Affected Services Include:
- Printing
- Mapped Drives (including SpartanDrive)
- Secure Desktop
