Microsoft 365 Adoption

Microsoft 365 became UNCG’s single destination for file storage and collaboration tools that were previously provided by Google Workspace, Box, and Zoom. The project began in Spring 2023.

UNCG’s work and collaboration tools previously included Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.), Box, Zoom, and network file storage. Microsoft 365 replaced these tools with the traditional MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc), Teams, and OneNote.

  • reduced costs
  • standardized everyone’s experience
  • improved data security
