Who: Undergraduate students and advisors who use Degree Works for academic planning.
What: UNCG will upgrade the Degree Works system, which supports degree audits and academic planning.
During the upgrade, Degree Works will be offline and unavailable to students and advisors while we complete a multi-stage upgrade and thorough testing.
When: From Monday, July 21, 2025, through Friday, August 1, 2025, Degree Works will be offline.
Why: This upgrade will enhance system performance, improve reliability, and ensure Degree Works remains a valuable and up-to-date tool for academic planning.
Do I Need to Do Anything?
No action is required during the upgrade period. However:
- If you are a student who uses Degree Works, plan ahead and review your degree audit before July 21.
- If you are an advisor, consult any needed records prior to the downtime.
