UNCG is transitioning to the new Degree Works Responsive Dashboard, an updated interface designed to offer a streamlined experience for academic advisors and students. This change is coordinated between ITS, the University Registrar’s Office, and the Division of Student Success.

What to Expect

The Responsive Dashboard offers a fresh design that differs from the current Classic Dashboard, but all key tools and features you rely on remain intact. Advisors and students will continue to use the system to monitor academic progress, track degree requirements, and stay on top of their academic journey—just with a new look and feel.

Upcoming Walkthrough for Advisors

A preview of the new platform will be featured during the next Advisors’ Academy: Coffee & Conversation virtual roundtable, scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 8:30-10:00 a.m.

This session will include:

  • A live demo of the Responsive Dashboard
  • Instructional resources to help familiarize you with the new platform
  • A Q&A session with the University Registrar’s Degree Works team

The session will be recorded and made available to all Degree Works users who are unable to attend. Additional drop-in trainings and workshops will also be offered later in the term.

Explore the New Dashboard

Advisors can get an early look at the new Responsive Dashboard by visiting this link. Simply log in with your UNCG credentials. Please note: You must be on the UNCG network or signed in to the Administrative Desktop to access the platform.

Classic Dashboard Remains Available

For those who need more time to familiarize themselves with the new system, the Classic Dashboard will continue to be accessible to both students and advisors throughout the Fall semester. The retirement date for the Classic Dashboard will be announced soon.

Stay tuned for further updates and take advantage of upcoming training opportunities to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
