Information Technology Services (ITS) has identified an issue affecting users who have selected the Outlook Mobile app as their Primary sign-in method for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). When this is set as the Primary method, it can cause all sign-in methods to break and result in a continuous sign-in loop.
Recommended Solution
To resolve this issue, users should set up the Microsoft Authenticator app as an additional MFA method. Doing so restores access to all methods and stops the sign-in loop.
If your browser has cached your login (for example, if you previously selected “Don’t ask again for 15 days” during sign-in), you may be able to complete this workaround on your own.
