It is the Purpose of UNCG ITS to connect, enable, and empower people through technology that transforms the University and the region.

Technology provides a vital foundation for UNC Greensboro’s mission to graduate students who are critical thinkers and lifelong learners who will shape future generations. ITS takes UNCG’s mission further by helping graduate students who have workforce-ready skills. 

Whether for the regions’ many technology companies or right here at UNCG, for decades, student employment in ITS has launched long-standing tech careers. This pivotal on-the-job training has been particularly beneficial in helping women enter the tech workforce. 

It is the Mission of UNCG ITS to:

  • advance university strategic initiatives and regional growth with technological acuity and readiness.

UNCG Information Technology Services develops and delivers the critical technological services that buoy learning, teaching, and working at UNCG. As a collaborative, mission-driven organization, every member of our team—from our student-workers to our CIO—is committed to driving student success with best-in-class computing tools and services.

Enterprise Technology Infrastructure manages the organization’s network, communication systems, IT facilities, research infrastructure, enterprise systems, and data infrastructure to ensure robust, secure, and high-performance IT operations.
