Faculty and staff who use Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.
What?
Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform planned maintenance affecting Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.
During the maintenance, Power BI content may be unavailable or work intermittently.
When?
Maintenance will begin the evening of Monday, Sept. 14, 2026. Users should expect potential service disruptions throughout Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Service will be restored as soon as maintenance is complete.
Why?
This planned maintenance is necessary to support the Power BI service at UNCG.
Do I Need to Do Anything?
Please plan accordingly and avoid relying on Power BI dashboards or reports for time-sensitive work during the maintenance period.
After maintenance is complete, some existing direct links to Power BI dashboards may no longer work. This includes saved bookmarks and links from websites.
Data Central is the preferred way to access Power BI dashboards. After service is restored:
- Access Power BI dashboards through Data Central.
- Check any saved bookmarks or website links that point directly to Power BI dashboards.
- Update those links as needed.
