YuJa Panorama, a new accessibility tool for Canvas, will be available at UNCG beginning Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, following fall break.

Panorama provides instructors with tools to identify and fix accessibility issues in Canvas course content. It will offer a more robust set of accessibility tools than UDOIT, including built-in remediation tools that can fix many issues directly within Canvas.

Who Benefits?

Instructors can use Panorama to find and fix accessibility issues in their Canvas courses.

Students and instructors will notice a visual change in Canvas when Panorama becomes available. Because Panorama works differently from UDOIT, some accessibility features and indicators will look different.

Key Features and Highlights

Panorama can help instructors:

  • Identify accessibility issues in Canvas course content.
  • Get guidance for resolving identified issues.
  • Fix many accessibility issues directly within Canvas using built-in remediation tools.
  • Review course content using a more robust set of accessibility tools.

UDOIT will remain available through the spring 2027 semester. During this transition, instructors may use either Panorama or UDOIT.

To avoid duplicate reports, conflicting results, and potential errors, instructors are strongly encouraged to use only one accessibility tool at a time.

When?

Panorama launches: Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026.

Preview workshops will introduce Panorama and demonstrate its core features and workflows:

Additional training, resources, and support will be available throughout the transition.

How to Get Started

No action is required before Panorama becomes available.

Instructors who want to learn about Panorama before the launch can attend a preview workshop and explore the available resources.
