When you walk into a classroom, conference room, or event space, you want the technology to work so you can focus on what you’re there to do.

The ITS Classroom Technology team designs, supports, and maintains technology in spaces across UNCG. From classroom displays and microphones to event technology and digital signage, the team helps create reliable technology environments for teaching, learning, meetings, events, and other campus activities.

How Can Classroom Technology Help You?

Classroom Technology supports technology in a wide range of campus spaces. The team can help with:

  • Classroom technology in tech-enhanced instructional spaces
  • Conference and event technology in spaces across campus
  • Event technology support and staffing
  • Digital signage at locations across campus
  • Computer-enhanced learning spaces
  • Assistive technology for classroom needs
  • Technology consultation, design, and installation for new and renovated learning spaces

Planning an Event or an AV Space?

Classroom Technology can help you plan technology needs before your event, renovation, or new space is underway.

  • Adding audiovisual technology to a campus space?
Submit a Audio/Visual Technology Project for help planning, designing, and installing audiovisual technology in classrooms, conference rooms, presentation spaces, and other campus spaces, including digital signage. Classroom Technology also serves as a technology consultant for campus capital projects.
  • Planning an event in a computer classroom?
Submit a Computer Classroom Event request at least two weeks before the first day of your event. After you submit the request, Learning Technology staff will work with you to confirm your event requirements before support is scheduled.

Why Does It Matter?

Technology works best when it lets you focus on what you’re trying to accomplish.

By designing, maintaining, and supporting technology across classrooms and other campus spaces, Classroom Technology helps students, faculty, staff, and visitors teach, learn, meet, present, and participate without the technology getting in the way.
