What Is Happening?
Oracle database servers are being updated.
The following services will be affected during the maintenance window:
- Faculty and Student Services Self-Service
- Self-Service Banner (UNCGenie)
- DegreeWorks
- Student Accounts Credit Card Payments
- UNCG Account Provisioning
- AIMS Administrative Services
- Banner Admin Pages
- Banner Workflow
- WebFOCUS Reporting from Banner and ODS
- ODS
- Grouper
- Power BI Connections to Oracle
When?
Thursday, Sep 24, 2026, 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Why?
The update keeps Oracle databases technically current and helps standardize the university’s database infrastructure.
Do I Need to Do Anything?
No action is required. Please plan to access the affected services outside the maintenance window.
