Instructors with Canvas courses from Spring 2020 through Summer 2021.
What
Information Technology Services (ITS) will delete Canvas courses from the following semesters as part of its regular course deletion cycle:
- Spring 2020
- Summer 2020
- Fall 2020
- Spring 2021
- Summer 2021
When
Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2026
Why
Removing older courses helps keep Canvas organized, makes current and recent courses easier to find, and frees up storage space.
Do I Need to Do Anything?
If you would like to save content from any of these courses, export the course before Nov. 18. Follow the How do I export a Canvas course? instructions.
If you do not need to keep content from these courses, no action is required.
If you need help exporting a course or would like a Canvas development shell to import content into, contact 6-TECH for assistance.
