UNCG is beginning a phased rollout of a new requirement for all active faculty, staff, and students to maintain their official UNCG-provided email address as their preferred email address in all University systems.
Using your official UNCG email address as your preferred email helps ensure that important University communications related to academics, employment, campus operations, and compliance are delivered securely and reliably.

What’s Changing?
As this initiative is implemented, active members of the UNCG community will be required to use their official UNCG-provided email address as their preferred email address in University systems.

What Do I Need to Do?
No action is required at this time.
If action is needed as the rollout progresses, ITS will communicate those requirements before they take effect.
