Qualtrics will retire its URL Proxy service on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026. This is a change being made by Qualtrics, not UNCG Information Technology Services (ITS).
After Oct. 30, Qualtrics links containing proxy.qualtrics.com will no longer work. Faculty and staff who use Qualtrics should review their surveys and other places where they have shared Qualtrics links to determine whether they are affected.
Who Needs to Act?
Faculty and staff who use Qualtrics should check for links containing proxy.qualtrics.com.
Qualtrics cannot identify which users have these links, so individual survey owners will need to review their own content.
Deadline
Update any affected links by Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.
What You Need to Do
Review your Qualtrics surveys and places where you may have shared Qualtrics links, including:
- Survey invitations
- Email tasks
- Triggers
- Workflows
- Department websites
- Canvas courses
- Email messages
- Shared documents
- QR codes
- Other communications
If you find a link containing proxy.qualtrics.com, update it before Oct. 30.
Faculty and staff will receive email reminders as the deadline approaches.
